Sorry for the delay!

So my great plan of making a blog and website whilst travelling failed. You’ve probably noticed that since my last post from the Galapagos related to events that happened almost a year ago…

Well, because I wanted to do it properly and not just have a brief “I’m currently here – it’s great” style recap of our adventures, it just took up too much time. Sorting the photos and writing was taking up hours that were better spent actually enjoying the trips. And after a couple of weeks without internet access I started to get further and further behind until it got to the point that I thought I could never catch up. So, apart from making some notes here and there, and continuing to take thousands of photos, the blog took a total backseat.

A lot has happened since then. We finished our amazing year travelling, taking in a further six countries, before spending a bit of time at home. We then moved to a new country – Luxembourg. It has now been almost three months here and I’m finally getting to the point where I feel I can return to the blog. I don’t like having things incomplete and I certainly want to write about our time away before the details become too fuzzy. I also want to share our experiences with the move and being able to explore a new area. So moving forward, the posts are going to be a bit mixed up it terms of chronology but I don’t think that really matter too much. I’ve set myself a goal of never being more than a year behind (in terms of catching up with the year spent travelling) so let’s see how it goes!
